How cool is living in NYC building with amenities, 24h doorman at hand, and cameras scattered all over for security reasons? Pretty cool, I HOPE!

Numerous international designers endorse me with their beautiful products every day to ensure I look suave on red carpets and in everyday life. Think of a walking billboard. Now put my face on it

All packages have been making their way successfully, except one that carried a gorgeous Swarovski-crystal covered clutch designed by Simrin Singh for IMI.

Been trying for days now to find out where it disappeared. It arrived to the building as one of the doormen signed its deliverance. Unfortunately, it mysteriously never made it into my apartment.

Superintendent has been watching the security surveillance video tapes for days now to see who stole/misplaced/”borrowed” the gorgeous IMI purse. If it has been stolen I would actually understand it, hence it is an absolutely stunning piece of luxury craft!

Latest news: judging by the security camera footage, it is still somewhere inside the building. That or some other lady has been pretty lucky walking my IMI handbag around …

OMG!!

Coming out of French Tuesday the other night, I ran into the President of my country, in the middle of Lexington Avenue! His bodyguard recognized me, called my name and drew my attention to them, and even though I was in shock contemplating how small the world is, I ended up talking to the Pres for like 10min or so… Wow….. How weird & cool is that?!? lol… I love NYC!!

“Welcome back to New York City, girl”, I said to myself scared shitless inside the coffin. Next thing I knew, my coffin was spinning and shaking endlessly.

Earlier that evening I appeared at a scheduled art opening in Soho followed by a private party at Gramercy Stark, and was really looking forward to joining few friends at a popular Halloween club opening.

As I got in, I was welcomed by the darkness of weirdos and Halloween theme dressed club employees. My friend Architect text me to go through The Body, and find them in The Hell. Whatever that meant; I was already stepping deeper inside the gloomy and murky venue. Some guy dressed like a coroner tells me he’s sorry for my loss, some other freaks playing their own roles of Halloween folklore. Not a big deal, I’m looking refined, dressed to impress, after all I just came from two social events, and all I have to do is to go further in and meet my friends. Pretty normal, right? With a welcome champagne in my hand and feeling all etheric being on the club’s VIP guest list, I proceeded further inside. 

Shit.

Halloween theme inside the club is becoming scarier and scarier, and after realizing that I have to go through the dark and foggy narrow pathway, I grabbed some young guys telling them I’m not going inside alone. Lots of laughs and toasting with champagne!! But, my dear…. Whatever happened next scared the living shit out of me!

Out of nowhere (and I mean, n-o-w-h-e-r-e!) as we were turning behind the corner, we got ambushed by more scary freaks who started grabbing, pushing, yelling at us to “get in”, and pulling us behind some ugly heavy curtains!!! Alert ON! Hilfe, hilfe! You just know you’re in a deep deep trouble when all senses tell you *&^%#@~$#! I never signed up for this scary crap! I hate feeling like Chuky is about to get me any second.

My champagne glass flew into the wall like plates fly in a Greek restaurant, I laughed and screamed hysterically not sure whether I’m laughing because I’m scared, or am I scared because I have to convince myself that shit is funny… I screamed back at them demanding to let me go, and after some serious pushing and shoving and realizing that guys I came in with were already “inside” somewhere behind the curtains, I finally let go and decided to experience this scary shit too – in an American way: Happy Halloween! Get into it

Yeah, right.

Next thing I now, all darkness around me. I’m in a freaking casket. Real casket with white satin lining inside. The sound of the casket top being shut with you alive inside is absolutely horrifying!! Oh I’m so pissed of, I’m scared, I’m thinking about all those gory movies that start carelessly with people just having fun, and by the time someone realizes that it’s not a joke anymore, there are already several dead bodies lying around! I wonder what next is going to happen to me after I thought I was just getting there to meet few friends, but ran into this horribly scary experience, generally liking the contagious Halloween spirit of the USA, but never liking the idea of being a practical Halloween prop!!!

As I’m thinking about the irony of being all dressed up, primped and ready to – die, my closed casket starts spinning around, left, right, left, left, around, right, left, around… Felt like what must have been a few minutes of pitch darkness listening to screeching sounds of eery Halloween atmosphere. Then it finally stopped… I wondered what the hell next was going to happen. Then the casket opened, and there was a pitch dark again. Some dead-wanna-be is screaming at me to get out and come “joinnnn theeeeem”…

“I’m not coming out”, I told her. Funny, but now I felt more secure in a casket then stepping out into another black hole of the unknown. So when she lost her patience, she ordered me to get out, and silly me actually tried to make a conversation with her asking her not to touch me by any means in that darkness because my poor little heart could not survive another ambush of creepy hands invading my private space.

She obliged and opened the door for me to get out, where I finally saw a bit of light and people partying at the end of a tunnel. If I could only make it there. Still in total darkness, I carefully tried to feel the ground once I got out of my casket and started walking towards the light. My steps were taking me over something nasty, mushy, and soft, so I just stormed out of there so happy to be alive…

I found my friends having fun, dancing, laughing, drinking champagne, having the best time ever! As they were hugging me and laughing at my dramatic exit, all I could say was how much I hate them at that very moment for not telling me what I had to go through, that I hate Halloween shit like this, I hate scary shocking situations, I hate being afraid, I’m not used to serious Halloween like this, and then – I just bursted out laughing realizing I’m not feeling any parts of my Bambi legs….

Reader, imagine this:
You doll yourself up for the new hot club opening, and the next thing you know – you’re in a closed casket! Eek!

My legs continued to shake 30 minutes after this terrible unexpected experience. Later I realized the concept: we all had to be buried, so that we could walk out of our caskets and experience Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven, each with their own dance theme floors. The rest of that pre-Halloween night turned out to be quite good, fun and very enjoyable.

Being buried was pure shit but interesting experience nevertheless now that is over. Maybe this all has a meaning. Maybe this is all happening for a reason now that I’m back in a city with a fresh mission. Like a puzzle already putting itself up together. I will think of it exactly that way – as a metaphor for success. We gotta die in order to be born again.

Otherwise, my dear, I’m – dead. And shitless. Coz you know I left that stuff – in the casket .
